What is turnitin.com?
We will be using turnitin.com to submit our writing. This site checks for plagiarism and provides tools for me to give you feedback. Your papers will be counted on-time only if you have submitted both the paper (when required) and the electronic versions.

How do I make my account?

• Go to http://turnitin.com
• In a new tab, go to turnitin.com.
• In the top right corner of the screen, click "New User."
• Under "New students start here," choose "Create a user profile."
• Under "Create a new account," choose "Student."
• The password is proctor. Careful--if you copy this number into turnitin.com, and you copy a space after the number, it won't work! Here's your class ID:
  • Period 1: 3405317
  • Period 2: 3405328
  • Period 5: 3405324
  • Period 7: 3405334
  • Period 8: 3405327

What if I already have another account because I used turnitin.com in another class?
That's fine. Log into your existing account, and then enroll in this class too.
